Writing is Dialogue: Teaching Students to Think (and Write) Like Writers was published by Christopher-Gordon Publishers, Inc. in early 2006. Drawn from twenty-five years of instruction and lectures, the book provides discussion, methodologies, lesson ideas, and dozens of student samples. An accompanying CD-ROM contains student work in personal essays, poetry, feature journalism, literary analysis and more. The CD also contains writing assignments and formatted materials discussed in the book.
